About the Program
How much anxiety can we take? Clearly, the coming mid-term elections will be a watershed for all of us, so we are honored to welcome the return of Sonoma County’s own Dr. David McCuan, preeminent expert on American elections. With his topic, The Mother of All Midterms: Election Analysis and Forecast, he’ll bring us inside the issues, polls, candidates, and further -- what it might mean for our democracy.
Looking forward to meeting with us, Dr. McCuan said, “from control of Congress to statehouse battles, the 2026 midterms have consequences reaching far beyond our shores, to the balance of power and future policy agendas of the United States.”
With this in mind, he will assess the dynamics of the campaign season, strategies of candidates and parties, opinions of voters, and, yes -- broader implications for democracy, governance, and leadership in America and around the globe.
The timing of this talk is crucial, coming just 26 days away from election day! So sign up now!!
